INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • Eggs, Oil, and Water as Directed on Mix
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • Chocolate Frosting
  • Cream Cheese Frosting if desired

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare bundt pan with non-stick spray and dusting of flour.
  3. Prepare cake mix as directed on the box.
  4. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and salt together until smooth and creamy; mix in chocolate chips.
  5. Layer half of the cake batter in bundt pan, then spoon in half of the cream cheese batter.
  6. Repeat with remaining batter.
  7. Bake 50-60 minutes until wooden skewer inserted in cake comes out clean.
  8. Take cake out of pan immediately and put in the freezer to cool.
  9. Frost with chocolate and cream cheese frostings and garnish with mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings.
